PREPARATION
Optimal Hair Length
Hair should be about ¼ inch long, roughly the length of a grain of rice. If you've been shaving, allow approximately 2–3 weeks of growth before your appointment for the best waxing results.
Exfoliate Before Your Wax
Gently exfoliate the area 24–48 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin cells and help release trapped hairs. Avoid aggressive scrubs or exfoliation immediately before your wax.
Arrive Clean & Comfortable
Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid applying heavy lotions, oils, or creams to the area being waxed. Wear clean, comfortable, loose-fitting clothing whenever possible, particularly for Brazilian, chest, back, or body waxing.
AFTERCARE
The First 24 Hours
Freshly waxed skin can be more sensitive. For the first 24 hours, avoid hot tubs, saunas, excessive heat, intense exercise, and activities that cause heavy sweating or friction in the waxed area.
Keep It Cool & Comfortable
Wear clean, loose-fitting clothing whenever possible and minimize friction against freshly waxed skin. This is especially important after Brazilian, chest, back, underarm, and body waxing.
Exfoliate & Maintain
After approximately 48–72 hours, begin gentle exfoliation to help keep follicles clear and reduce the chance of ingrown hairs. Continue exfoliating regularly between appointments and keep the skin moisturized.
